The three Pulkkilanharju cottages are identical in terms of floor plans and equipment. They were constructed for rental use and were completed in June 2006. Each log cabin has enough space to accommodate two families – there are 8 sleeping places and two additional beds.

Each cottage stands on its own plot of land. The gently sloping, gravel beach is child-friendly. The water in Lake Päijänne is clear and clean. (Lake Päijänne supplies water for the metropolitan region, and the water catchment tunnel is less than 1 km away). Each cottage has its own parking spaces. The Roope cottage is around 20 metres from the lakeshore, the others are slightly higher up, 65 metres from the shore.

Equipment            

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge (361 litres), freezer (86 litres), electric stove with extractor fan, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee-maker, toaster, and tableware for 14 people. Other equipment includes TV, digibox, DVD player, radio, vacuum cleaner and washing machine. Fireplace with storage heating. 1Mbit ADSL. The cottages have underfloor heating.

Each cottage has a sauna and also a separate lakeside sauna with wood-burning sauna stove and underfloor heating. The saunas are 15 – 16m2, and have a dressing room, washroom, and 6.5 – 10.5 m2 veranda. The saunas can take 6 people and the washroom 2 – 4 people.
